The verse highlights steadfastness and renewed effort in the midst of conflict: even after a change of weapons or circumstances, true warriors re-enter the struggle with composure and radiance, suggesting the ethical ideal of resilience and unwavering commitment to one’s chosen duty in a crisis.
Sañjaya describes two heroes who, taking up different (new) excellent bows, appear splendid on the battlefield—likened to divine princes—and continue the combat with renewed vigor.
