Educational Q&A

Even in a battlefield where weapons target visible signs of power, true strength is not merely in outward emblems but in the steadfast meaning they carry—courage, legitimacy, and the moral resolve symbolized by a righteous standard.

Sañjaya reports that a warrior strikes and pierces the chariot-banner with another bhalla arrow. The banner bears a great monkey-emblem, described as a magnificent work crafted by the divine artisan Viśvakarman.
