कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा

नन्दोपनन्दौ समरे प्रैषयद्‌ यमसादनम्‌ । उनकी सेना चंचल हो उठी। फिर महाबली भीमसेनने समरांगणमें नन्द और उपनन्दको भी यमलोक भेज दिया

sañjaya uvāca |

nandopanandau samare praiṣayad yamasādanam |

サンジャヤは言った。「戦のただ中で、ビーマセーナはナンダとウパナンダをヤマ(死)の住処へと送り去った。彼らの落命を見て、その軍勢は動揺し、足並みを乱した—戦において要の武人が倒れれば、軍全体の士気と結束がたちまち揺らぐことを示す光景である。」
