कृष्णोपदेशः, अर्जुनस्य क्षमा-याचनम्, कर्णवध-अनुज्ञा

तौ धरामन्वपसद्येतां वातरुग्णाविव द्रुमौ
tau dharām anvapasadyetāṃ vātarugṇāv iva drumau
サञ्जयは言った――二人は大地に崩れ落ちた。激しい風に打ち砕かれた二本の樹のごとく――戦と運命の抗しがたい力に武人が屈し、誇りも剛力も一瞬にして潰えるさまがそこにあった。
