Transliteration

abhiyāhi mahābāho bhīmasenaṃ mahābalam

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「進め、偉大なる腕を持つ者よ。大いなる力のビーマセーナに向かえ。」クルクシェートラの戦いの道義的空気の中で、この一句は直截の軍令として響く――恐るべき強敵との決然たる交戦を促し、血縁を討つという悲劇の必然のただ中にあっても、勇気と決意を求めるのである。
