Chapter 45
एष धर्मभृतां श्रेष्ठो धर्मराजो युधिष्ठिर: । तिष्ठत्यसुकर: संख्ये परै: परपुरञ्जय:
eṣa dharmabhṛtāṃ śreṣṭho dharmarājo yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | tiṣṭhaty asukaraḥ saṅkhye paraiḥ parapurañjayaḥ ||
シャリヤは言った。「ここに立つはユディシュティラ、ダルマ王、正義を担う者たちの中の第一人者。戦場にあっても揺るがず、敵が容易に打ち倒せぬ者、敵城を征する征服者である。」
शल्य उवाच
Even amid war, true authority is grounded in dharma: Yudhiṣṭhira is praised not merely for power but for being the foremost upholder of righteousness, whose steadiness makes him hard to defeat.
Śalya points out Yudhiṣṭhira on the battlefield, describing him as the Dharma-king and a formidable opponent—one who stands firm in combat and is not easily overcome by enemies.
