बलिभिर्दप्तशार्टूलैरादित्यो $भिनिरी क्ष्यते । “देखो, चारों दिशाओंमें नाना प्रकारके पशुसमुदाय तथा बलवान् एवं स्वाभिमानी सिंह सूर्यकी ओर देख रहे हैं
balibhir daptśārṭūlair ādityo 'bhinirīkṣyate |
サンジャヤは言った。「見よ——四方に、さまざまな獣の群れがあり、力強く驕り高い獅子たちまでもが太陽を見つめている。」この光景は不吉な兆しである。強者も自負する者も、宇宙の証人たる太陽へ視線を向け、戦のダルマと宿命が決定的に転ずる時を待つかのようだ。
