Chapter 45
संजय उवाच शृणु व्यूहस्य रचनामर्जुनश्ष यथा गत: । परिवार्य नृपं स्वं स्व॑ संग्रामश्चाभवद् यथा
sañjaya uvāca śṛṇu vyūhasya racanām arjunaś ca yathā gataḥ | parivārya nṛpaṁ svaṁ svaṁ saṅgrāmaś cābhavad yathā ||
サンジャヤは言った。「王よ、お聞きください。陣形（ヴューーハ）がいかに組まれたか、アルジュナがいかにして、どこへ進んだか、そして両軍の戦士たちがそれぞれ自軍の王を四方から囲みつつ、いかに合戦したか――そのすべてを語りましょう。」
