एवं विद्वञ्जोषमास्स्व त्रासात् कि बहु भाषसे
evaṁ vidvan joṣam āssva trāsāt kiṁ bahu bhāṣase
カルナは言った。「汝は賢い。ゆえに黙して座せ。恐れから、なぜそれほど多くを語るのか。」

The verse contrasts wisdom with needless, fear-driven talk: a truly discerning person should restrain speech and remain composed rather than letting fear provoke excessive words.
