पिबद्धिरिव चाकाशं तैहयैलोॉकपूजितै: । जगाम भगवान् क्षिप्रं जयाय त्रिदिवौकसाम्,वे लोकपूजित अश्व ऐसे तीव्र वेगसे चल रहे थे, मानो सारे आकाशको पी जायूँगे। उस समय भगवान् शिव उन अअश्रोंके द्वारा देवतवाओंकी विजयके लिये बड़ी शीघ्रताके साथ जा रहे थे
pibaddhir iva cākāśaṃ taiḥ hayaiḥ lokapūjitaiḥ | jagāma bhagavān kṣipraṃ jayāya tridivaukasām ||
世に称えられるその馬たちは、まるで天を飲み干さんばかりの猛き速さで突き進んだ。そのとき福徳の主(シヴァ)は、天界の住人たちに勝利をもたらすべく、疾風のごとく前進した。
पितामह उवाच
The verse highlights the epic idea that when cosmic balance is threatened, divine power may act decisively to uphold order (dharma) and protect the rightful stability of the worlds; victory is portrayed not merely as force, but as the reassertion of a larger moral-cosmic harmony.
Bhīṣma describes a dramatic scene: Śiva moves swiftly, borne by extraordinarily swift, world-renowned horses whose speed is likened to drinking up the sky, as he goes to secure victory for the gods (the heavenly beings).
