कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
तस्मिन् सोमाग्निविष्णूनां क्षोभेण ब्रह्मरुद्रयो: । स रथो धनुष: क्षोभादतीव हावसीदति,फिर तो समस्त प्राणी भयभीत हो उठे। सारी त्रिलोकी और भूमि काँपने लगी। जब वे वहाँ धनुषपर बाणका संधान करने लगे, तब उसमें चन्द्रमा, अग्नि, विष्णु, ब्रह्मा और रुद्रके क्षोभसे बड़े भयंकर निमित्त प्रकट हुए। धनुषके क्षोभसे वह रथ अत्यन्त शिथिल होने लगा
tasmin somāgniviṣṇūnāṁ kṣobheṇa brahmarudrayoḥ | sa ratho dhanuṣaḥ kṣobhād atīva hāvasīdati ||
ビーシュマは言った。「そのとき、月神ソーマ、火神アグニ、ヴィシュヌの力が揺り動かされ、さらにブラフマーとルドラも動揺したため、恐るべき凶兆が現れた。弓の激しい震動により、戦車そのものが大いに緩み、ぐらつきはじめた。」
