द्राव्यमाणान्यदृश्यन्त सौबलेन महात्मना । महामना शकुनिने घमंडमें भरे हुए उन शस्त्रसम्पन्न महान् सैनिकोंको भगा दिया। यह सब हमने अपनी आँखों देखा
sañjaya uvāca | drāvyamāṇāny adṛśyanta saubalena mahātmanā | mahāmanā śakuninā ||
サンジャヤは言った。「スバラの子にして大いなる魂をもつ者、気概高きシャクニによって、彼らが追い立てられ逃げ散るのが見えた。かくして我らの眼前で、シャクニは武装に優れ驕り高ぶるその大兵たちを撃ち崩し、潰走させたのだ。」
