संतापयन्तावन्योन्यं दीप्तै: शरगभस्तिभि: । लोकत्रासकरावास्तां विमार्गस्थौ ग्रहाविव,जैसे वक्र या अतिचार गतिसे चलनेवाले दो ग्रह सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌के लिये त्रास उत्पन्न करनेवाले हो जाते हैं, उसी प्रकार वे दोनों वीर अपनी बाणमयी प्रज्वलित किरणोंद्वारा एक- दूसरेको संताप देने लगे

Transliteration

saṃtāpayantāv anyonyaṃ dīptaiḥ śaragabhastibhiḥ | lokatrāsakarāv āstāṃ vimārgasthau grahāv iva ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。二人の勇士は、燃えさかる矢の光の群れによって互いを灼き合った。正しい軌道を外れ、異様な運行が全世界に恐怖をもたらす二つの惑星のように、彼らは見えた。武器が炎のごとく閃き、容赦なき戦いの中で戦慄を撒き散らしていた。
