तेनान्तरेण बीभत्सुर्विवेशामित्रवाहिनीम् । न लेभाते तु तौ द्वारं वारितौ कृतवर्मणा
Transliteration
tenāntareṇa bībhatsur viveśāmitravāhinīm | na lebhāte tu tau dvāraṃ vāritau kṛtavarmaṇā ||
Translation
その間に、ビーバツ（アルジュナ）は敵軍の陣中へと強行突破した。だが二人は門に到達できなかった。クリタヴァルマンがこれを阻んだからである。戦においては、正しき決意でさえ意図的な抵抗に遭い、規律と自制によって試されねばならぬことを示す。
