अर्घ्य चैवासनं चास्मै दीयतां परमार्चितम्‌ । तब पुरुषसिंह युधिष्ठिरने द्वारपालसे कहा--“तुम माधवको स्वागतपूर्वक ले आओ और उन्हें अर्घ्य तथा परम उत्तम आसन अर्पित करो”

arghyaṃ caivāsanaṃ cāsmai dīyatāṃ paramārcitam |

「至上の敬意をもって、アルギャ(迎賓の供水)と座をお捧げせよ。」そのとき人中の獅子ユディシュティラは門番に言った――「マーダヴァを丁重に迎えてお連れし、アルギャと最上の座をお供えせよ。」
