यत् पार्थेन प्रतिज्ञातं तत् तथा न तदन्यथा । चिकीर्षितं हि ते भर्तुर्न भवेज्जातु निष्फलम्,अर्जुनने जिस बातके लिये प्रतिज्ञा कर ली है, वह उसी रूपमें पूर्ण होगी। उसे कोई पलट नहीं सकता। तुम्हारे स्वामी जो कुछ करना चाहते हैं, वह कभी निष्फल नहीं होता
yat pārthena pratijñātaṃ tat tathā na tad anyathā | cikīrṣitaṃ hi te bhartur na bhavej jātu niṣphalam ||
パールタ（アルジュナ）が誓い立てたことは、まさにそのとおりに成就し、他の形にはならぬ。誰にもそれを覆すことはできない。そなたの主君が成し遂げようとすることは決して空しくはならず、その決意は必ずや望む果を結ぶ。
