The verse highlights the kṣatriya ideal of translating declared intent into immediate action, while also intensifying the ethical strain of war: power and preparedness are displayed through the splendid chariot, yet the target is Saubhadra (Abhimanyu), a young hero—reminding the reader that valor in battle often coexists with morally fraught choices.
After speaking, a valiant warrior charges directly at Saubhadra (Abhimanyu). He advances in a well-prepared, radiant chariot that is audibly resounding, signaling a forceful assault and escalating the combat around Abhimanyu.
