द्रोणाभिमुखानां निवारण-युद्धम् / Interceptions on the Droṇa-front
यन्मां क्षत्ताब्रवीत् तात प्रपश्यन् पुत्रगृद्धिनम् । दुर्योधनेन तत् सर्व प्राप्त सूत मया सह,तात! मुझे अपने पुत्रोंके प्रति अत्यन्त आसक्त देखकर विदुरने मुझसे जो कुछ कहा था, मेरे साथ दुर्योधनको वह सब प्राप्त हो रहा है
yan māṁ kṣattābravīt tāta prapaśyan putragṛddhinam | duryodhanena tat sarvaṁ prāpta sūta mayā saha ||
ドリタラーシュトラは言った。「愛しき者よ、我が子らへの貪りに取り憑かれた我を見て、侍従ヴィドゥラがかつて我に告げた言葉――そのすべてが今や、我とともに、ドゥルヨーダナにも降りかかっているのだ、スータよ。」
