नागानश्वान्‌ पदातींक्ष रथिनो गजसादिन: । रौद्रा हस्तवता मुक्ता: प्रमथ्नन्ति सम सायका:

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

nāgān aśvān padātīṃś ca rathino gajasādinaḥ |

raudrā hastavatā muktāḥ pramathnanti sma sāyakāḥ ||

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。ドローナーチャールヤが素早く巧みな手さばきで放った恐るべき矢は、隊列を粉砕し掻き乱した――象も馬も歩兵も、戦車の武者も象乗りも、等しく巻き込まれた。
