Shloka 38

तज्जग्राह पिता मह्य[ुमब्रवीच्चैव स प्रभु: । त्वं वधिष्यसि सर्वाणि शस्त्रवर्षाण्यनेकश:,“तदनन्तर मेरे पिताने वह अस्त्र ग्रहण किया और उन पूज्य पिताने मुझे उसका उपदेश किया। (पिताको अस्त्र देते समय भगवानने यह भी कहा था--) “ब्रह्मन्‌! तुम संग्राममें इस अस्त्रके द्वारा सम्पूर्ण शस्त्र-वर्षाओंको बारंबार नष्ट करोगे और स्वयं भी तेजसे प्रकाशित होते रहोगे।' ऐसा कहकर भगवान्‌ नारायण अपने दिव्य धामको चले गये

tad jagrāha pitā mahyam abravīc caiva sa prabhuḥ | tvaṁ vadhiṣyasi sarvāṇi śastravarṣāṇy anekaśaḥ ||

サञ्जयは語った。――わが父はその神なる武器を受け取り、ついで尊き父はそれを私に授け教えた。さらに主は宣言された。「おおブラーフマナよ、この武器によって汝は戦いにおいて、降り注ぐあらゆる飛び道具の雨を幾度も打ち砕くであろう。」
