The verse highlights how extraordinary martial skill and speed can overwhelm perception—people may be dazzled by spectacle in war, which can obscure calm discernment and ethical clarity.
Sañjaya describes two unnamed warriors whose rapid arrow-work, coordinated chariot movement, and fierce combat so impress the spectators that they seem to enchant or bewilder the eyes and minds of the people watching.
