The verse highlights the Kṣatriya ideal of decisive action in battle: when duty calls, hesitation gives way to resolute effort. Yet it also implicitly frames the ethical tension of war—power and anger must be directed toward a perceived righteous aim, not mere cruelty.
Bhīma, speaking fiercely, declares he will break the enemy host with arrows shot at full draw. He then advances aggressively, driving back the opposing troops and pushing into Droṇa’s battle-formation.
