दुर्योधनमुपागम्य प्राह प्रहरतां वर: । राजन्! इसी समय जटासुरका बलवान पुत्र योद्धाओंमें श्रेष्ठ एक राक्षस दुर्योधनके पास आकर इस प्रकार बोला--
sañjaya uvāca |
duryodhanam upāgamya prāha praharatāṃ varaḥ |
サンジャヤは言った。「ドゥルヨーダナに近づき、戦士の中でも第一の者が語った。『王よ、まさに今、ジャターースラ（Jaṭāsura）の強大なる子—羅刹（ラークシャサ）にして勇士の最たる者—がドゥルヨーダナのもとへ来て、このように申した。』」
