नारायणास्त्र-शमनं द्रौणि-प्रहारश्च

दीप्यमाना: प्रदीपाश्च॒ रथवारणवाजिषु
dīpyamānāḥ pradīpāś ca rathavāraṇavājiṣu
サञ्जयは言った。「戦車、象、馬の上には、燃え立ち明るく輝く灯火が見えた。」それは夜の戦場の激しさを示していた――照明の下で戦はなお続き、武勇の光景をいっそう際立たせると同時に、休みなく続く暴力の道義的な重みをも増していた。
