नारायणास्त्र-शमनं द्रौणि-प्रहारश्च

सादी सादिनमासाद्य पत्तयश्न पदातिनम्
sādī sādinam āsādya pattayaś ca padātinam
サञ्जयは言った。御者と戦車武者に迫ると、歩兵もまた歩兵へと押し寄せた。戦はたちまち近接の乱戦へと締まり、各兵種がそれぞれ同格の相手を求め合う。そこに戦の冷厳な掟が現れる――技は技にぶつかり、力は力に応じ、殺戮はいよいよ激しさを増した。
