नारायणास्त्र-शमनं द्रौणि-प्रहारश्च

महत्या सेनया सार्ध ततो युद्धमवर्तत । इसी प्रकार आपके पुत्रोंने भी विशाल सेनाके साथ आकर द्विजश्रेष्ठ कृपाचार्यको अपने बीचमें कर लिया। फिर दोनों दलोंमें घोर युद्ध होने लगा
mahatyā senayā sārdha tato yuddham avartata |
サञ्जयは言った。やがて大軍が集い、戦は動き出した。同じく、汝の子らも大勢を率いて来たり、両生の最勝者クリパーチャーリヤを自軍の中央に据えた。かくして両軍の間に、凄惨なる戦闘が起こった。
