तेषु राजसहस्रेषु तावकेषु परेषु च । एक एव ज्वलंस्तस्थौ वृषसेन: प्रतापवान्,आपके और शत्रुपक्षेके सहस्नों राजाओंके बीच एकमात्र प्रतापी वृषसेन ही अपने तेजसे प्रकाशित होता हुआ रणभूमिमें खड़ा था
teṣu rāja-sahasreṣu tāvakeṣu pareṣu ca | eka eva jvalan tasthau vṛṣasenaḥ pratāpavān ||
サンジャヤは言った。「その幾千の王たちの中――クル族の陣にも敵軍にも――ただ一人、武威にすぐれたヴリシャセーナのみが、戦場に立って炎のごとく輝き、武の光彩を放っていた。」
