サञ्जयは言った。憤怒したヴリシャセーナは、戦車の上に立つヤジュニャセーナの胸のあたりを、多くの鋭い矢で射抜いた。

The verse highlights how anger (krodha) intensifies violence in war: martial prowess becomes an instrument of wrath, reminding readers that ethical self-mastery is fragile amid battlefield duty and rivalry.
Sañjaya reports that Vṛṣasena, furious, shoots many sharp arrows at Yajñasena standing on his chariot, striking him in the chest—an episode of direct chariot-to-chariot combat within the Drona Parva battles.
