दुःशासन-सहदेव-संक्षोभः; भीम-राधेय-गदायुद्धम्; द्रोण-पार्थ-अस्त्रसंग्रामः

अम्बष्ठान् मालवान् वज्जन् शिबींस्त्रैगर्तकानपि
ambaṣṭhān mālavān vajjan śibīṁs traigartakān api
サンジャヤは言った。「（彼は）アンバシュタ、マーラヴァ、ヴァッジャン、シビ、そしてトライガルタまでも打ち倒した。」この一句は、クルクシェートラの戦に引き込まれた諸族を矢継ぎ早に列挙し、争いがクル族とパーンダヴァ族の枠を超えて多くの共同体を呑み込むことを示している。
