अयं कर्ण: कुत: कर्णस्तिष्ठ कर्ण महारणे

Transliteration

ayaṃ karṇaḥ kutaḥ karṇas tiṣṭha karṇa mahāraṇe

Translation

サンジャヤは言った。「ここにカルナがいる——ではカルナはいまどこにいるのだ？ 立て、カルナよ、この大いなる戦いにおいて揺らぐな！」この叫びは切迫と道義の圧力を帯びている。戦の危機にあって、武人は逃避ではなく、堅忍と責任へと呼び立てられる。多くの運命がその決意に懸かっているからである。
