दृष्टवा तमेक॑ समरे विचरन्तमभीतवत् | सहिता: सर्वराजान: परिवद्रु: समन््तत:,उसे अकेले ही समरभूमिमें निर्भय विचरते देख सब राजाओंने एक साथ आकर सब ओरसे घेर लिया
dṛṣṭvā tam ekaṃ samare vicarantam abhītavat | sahitāḥ sarvarājānaḥ parivavruḥ samantataḥ ||
サञ्जयは言った。「戦場をただ一人、恐れなき落ち着きで駆け巡る彼を見て、諸王はこぞって結束し、四方から取り囲んだ。これは、勇気ひとつで戦の均衡を揺るがしかねぬ孤高の戦士を抑え込むための、集団の力であった。」
