तामवसप्लुत्य जग्राह दौणिन्यस्य रथे धनु: । चिक्षेप चैनां तस्यैव स्वन्दनात् सो5वपुप्लुवे,यह देख अश्व॒त्थामाने रथपर अपना धनुष रख उछलकर उस अशनिको पकड़ लिया और उसे घटोत्कचके ही रथपर दे मारा। घटोत्कच उस रथसे कूद पड़ा
tām avasaplutya jagrāha dauṇinyasya rathe dhanuḥ | cikṣepa caināṃ tasyaiva svandanāt so 'vapupluve ||
それを見たアシュヴァッターマンは戦車へ跳び上がり、ドローナの子の車上に置かれていた弓をつかむと、その武器を同じ戦車へ向けて投げ返した。だがガトートカチャは、その戦車から跳び降りた。
