Ghaṭotkaca Slays Alāyudha (Night Battle and Māyā Countermeasures) /
imāni pāṇḍavānāṁ ca sṛñjayānāṁ ca bhārata | anīkāny ādravante māṁ sahitāny adya bhārata ||
The verse highlights the moral and practical weight of unity in a righteous cause: allied forces acting in concert become a decisive power, reminding the listener that outcomes in war are shaped not only by individual valor but by collective resolve and alignment.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the combined Pāṇḍava and Sṛñjaya battle-divisions are advancing rapidly toward him (i.e., toward the Kaurava side he is describing), signaling an imminent clash and a coordinated offensive.
