Educational Q&A

Harming the very teacher or benefactor from whom one received knowledge is portrayed as a severe adharma; such ingratitude and betrayal lead to moral downfall and hellish consequence (niraya).

Sañjaya, narrating events of the Drona Parva, makes a moral judgment about warriors or persons who turn violently against those connected with their instruction—highlighting the ethical breach within the unfolding conflict.
