अध्याय १४८ — कर्णप्रभावः, धृष्टद्युम्नस्य विरथता, तथा घटोत्कच-आह्वानम्
Chapter 148: Karṇa’s Pressure, Dhṛṣṭadyumna Unhorsed, and the Summoning of Ghaṭotkaca
त॑ दृष्टवा तस्य विक्रान्तमन्तकस्येव रूपिण:
taṁ dṛṣṭvā tasya vikrāntam antakasyeva rūpiṇaḥ
サञ्जयは言った。「彼の武勇を見て—その姿はまるでアンタカ（死）そのもののようであった—戦士たちは、避けがたい滅びに直面したかのごとく、畏怖と驚嘆に打たれた。この光景は、戦において並外れた力が道徳的・実存的な力として立ち現れ、死すべき身を思い起こさせ、抑えなき暴力の恐るべき帰結を告げることを示している。」
