Nakula–Śakuni Duel and the Night Battle; Śikhaṇḍin–Kṛpa Engagement (नकुल-शकुनियुद्धं तथा रात्रियुद्धवर्णनम्)
सौमदत्तिस्तु शैनेयं प्रच्छाद्येषुभिराशुगै:
saumadattis tu śaineyaṁ pracchādyeṣubhir āśugaiḥ
サンジャヤは言った。「だがサウマダッティは、疾く飛ぶ矢をもってシャイネーヤを雨のごとく射かけ、戦の圧迫の中で彼を覆い尽くして圧倒しようとした――戦において武勇とは、絶え間ない力で敵の進撃を押しとどめる術によって量られることを示すかのように。」
