तव दृष्टवा तु तनयान् भीमसेनपुरोगतान् । अभ्यवर्तत राधेयो भीमसेनं महाबलम्,आपके पुत्रोंको भीमसेनके सामने गया हुआ देख राधानन्दन कर्ण पुनः महाबली भीमसेनका सामना करनेके लिये आ पहुँचा
tava dṛṣṭvā tu tanayān bhīmasenapurogātān | abhyavartata rādheyo bhīmasenaṃ mahābalam ||
サञ्जयは言った。汝の子らがビーマセーナの前に進み出ているのを見て、ラーデーヤ（カルナ）は引き返し、再び前へ出て、強大なるビーマセーナに対峙せんとした。これは戦の勢いが容赦なく押し寄せるさまを示す。個の武勇と味方への忠義が、恐るべき相手を前にしても戦士を再び戦いへと駆り立てるのである。
