इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत जयद्रथवधपर्वमें सात्यकिका शत्रुसेनामें प्रवेश और दुर्योधनका पलायनविषयक एक सौ बीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārata Droṇaparvake antargata Jayadrathavadhaparvameṃ Sātyakikā śatrusenāmeṃ praveśa aura Duryodhanakā palāyanaviṣayaka eka śata bīsavāṃ adhyāya pūrā huā.
サञ्जयは言った。かくして『聖マハーバーラタ』のドローナ・パルヴァに属する「ジャヤドラタ殺し」の章段、その第百二十章は終わる。ここには、シャイネーヤ（サーティヤキ）が敵軍の中へ突入したこと、そしてドゥルヨーダナが退走したことが語られている。章末は戦の道義的重圧を示す――勇気と決意は一方を前進へ駆り立て、恐れと策としての退却は他方を覆う。アダルマと揺らぐ統率が、危急のさなかに胆力を蝕むさまが明らかとなる。
