कृतवर्मा रथेनैष द्रुतमापतते शरी
kṛtavarmā rathenaiṣa drutam āpatate śaraiḥ
サンジャヤは言った。「クリタヴァルマンは戦車に乗り、疾風のごとく前へ躍り出て、敵に矢の雨を浴びせかけた。」
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the kṣatriya-war ethos: swift, decisive action in battle as a form of duty, while implicitly reminding the reader that dharma in war often unfolds through harsh, morally weighty means.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛtavarmā advances rapidly in his chariot and attacks by releasing arrows, indicating an active charge and escalation in the ongoing combat.
