Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 114 — Karṇa–Bhīmasena Missile Exchange, Disarmament, and Arjuna’s Intervention
śūrāśva kṛtavidyāśva dhanurvede ca niṣṭhitāḥ
The verse highlights the kṣatriya ideal of disciplined preparation: courage is paired with completed training and steady mastery of dhanurveda, implying that power in war is ethically weighty and must be grounded in skill and self-control.
Sañjaya is describing warriors in the Drona Parva, characterizing them as brave and thoroughly trained archers—setting the scene for the intensity and competence of the forces engaged in the battle.
