तादृशस्येदृशे काले मादृशेनाभिनोदित:ः । अतः तुम मेरे-जैसे मनुष्यसे प्रेरित हो ऐसे संकटके समय अर्जुन-जैसे प्रिय सखाके पथका अनुसरण करो, जैसा कि तुम्हारे-जैसे वीर पुरुष किया करते हैं
tādṛśasyedṛśe kāle mādṛśenābhinoditaḥ | ataḥ tvam mama-jaiṣe manuṣyena preritaḥ san evaṁ saṅkaṭa-kāle arjuna-jaiṣasya priya-sakhyuḥ patham anusara, yathā tvādṛśā vīrāḥ puruṣāḥ kurvanti |
ユディシュティラは言った。「かくのごとき事態、かくのごとき危急の時に、そなたは私のような者に促されている。ゆえに、たとえ私のような者に駆り立てられようとも、この危難の刻には、アルジュナのような愛しき友が歩む道を追え――それが、そなたほどの勇士の常である。」
