तथाप्यहं नरव्याप्रं शैनेयं सत्यविक्रमम्‌ । साहाय्ये विनियोक्ष्यामि नास्ति मे5न्यो हि तत्सम:,तस्य त्वमेवं संकल्पं न वृथा कर्तुमरहसि । धनंजयस्य वाष्णेय मम भीमस्य चोभयो: वार्ष्षय! अर्जुनका, मेरा, भीमसेनका तथा दोनों माद्रीकुमारोंका तुम्हारे विषयमें जो वैसा संकल्प है, उसे तुम्हें व्यर्थ नहीं करना चाहिये

Transliteration

tathāpy ahaṃ naravyāghraṃ śaineyaṃ satyavikramaṃ | sāhāyye viniyokṣyāmi nāsti me 'nyo hi tatsamaḥ || tasya tvam evaṃ saṃkalpaṃ na vṛthā kartum arhasi | dhanaṃjayasya vāṣṇeya mama bhīmasya cobhayoḥ mādrīkumarayoḥ ||

Translation

ユディシュティラは言った。「それでもなお、人中の虎よ、私は真実の武勇を証し立てたシャイネーヤ（サーティヤキ）を、我らを助ける任に就ける。私には彼に等しい者が他にいない。ゆえに、ヴァーシュネーヤよ、この決意を空しくしてはならぬ—アルジュナと私とビーーマ、そしてマードリーの二人の子らが、あなたについて固めた決意を。」
