इस प्रकार श्रीमह्ाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत जयद्रथवधपर्वमें अलग्बुषवधविषयक एक सौ नवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraḥ śrīmahābhārate droṇaparvake antargataṃ jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi alambuṣavadhaviṣayaka ekaśata navamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
サンジャヤは語った。「かくして、聖なる『マハーバーラタ』ドローナ・パルヴァのうち、ジャヤドラタ討伐章に属する『アランブシャ討伐』の第百九章は終わる。ここに置かれた結語（コロフォン）は、戦記の叙述における一つのまとまりの完結を示し、出来事が秩序立って伝承されること、そして戦場の物語が帯びる道義の重みを強調するのである。」
