Adhyāya 110: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament on Fate; Saṃjaya’s Reproof and the Princes’ Assault on Bhīma
sañjaya uvāca | apūjayan mārutiṃ ca saṃhṛṣṭās te mahābalam | prahrādaṃ samare jitvā yathā śakraṃ marudgaṇāḥ ||

The verse highlights the ethical-social function of honoring courage and service: when strength is used effectively for one’s cause, the community responds with gratitude and praise, likened to divine attendants celebrating their leader’s victory.
Sañjaya reports that the warriors, overjoyed, celebrate and honor Bhīma (called Māruti) for his battlefield success, comparing their praise to the Maruts lauding Indra after he defeats Prahrāda in combat.
