Adhyāya 110: Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Lament on Fate; Saṃjaya’s Reproof and the Princes’ Assault on Bhīma
tad astraṁ preryitaṁ tena bhīmasenena saṁyuge | rākṣasasya mahāmāyāṁ hatvā rākṣasam ārdhayat ||

The verse highlights that in righteous warfare, a warrior must not be misled by छल (māyā). Ethical strength includes discernment—piercing deception—and decisive action to protect the just cause.
Sañjaya reports that Bhīma launches a weapon in battle; it destroys the Rākṣasa’s powerful illusion and then overpowers/strikes down the Rākṣasa himself.
