तैर््मानो5तिरथ: सात्वत: सत्यकोविद: । नाकम्पत महाराज भीम॑ चार्च्छच्छितै: शरै:,महाराज! उन सायकोंसे अत्यन्त पीड़ित होनेपर भी अतिरथी एवं सत्यकोविद सात्वतवंशी कृतवर्मा विचलित नहीं हुआ। उसने भीमसेनको पुनः तीखे बाणोंसे पीड़ित किया
tair māno’tirathaḥ sātvataḥ satyakovidaḥ | nākampata mahārāja bhīmaṁ cārcchacchitaiḥ śaraiḥ ||
サञ्जयは語った。大王よ、それらの矢に射られて甚だしく苦しめられても、サートヴァタの勇士クリタヴァルマン――真と武の道に通じた者――は少しも揺るがなかった。彼は戦陣に踏みとどまり、鋭い矢でビーマセーナを再び射貫いた。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights kṣatriya steadfastness: even when wounded, a warrior is expected to remain composed and continue his duty in battle without losing courage or self-control.
Sañjaya reports that Kṛtavarmā, though badly hurt by incoming arrows, does not falter; instead he retaliates by striking Bhīma again with sharp arrows.
