भीष्मस्य भीमसेन-निरोधः

पुरा किल सुरा: सर्वे ऋषयश्न समागता: । पितामहमुपासेदु: पर्वते गन्धमादने,पहलेकी बात है, समस्त देवता और महर्षि गन्धमादन पर्वतपर आकर पितामह ब्रह्माजीके पास बैठे
purā kila surāḥ sarve ṛṣayaś ca samāgatāḥ | pitāmaham upāseduḥ parvate gandhamādane ||
ビーシュマは言った。「遠き昔、すべての神々と大いなるリシたちが相集った。彼らはガンダマーダナ山において祖父ブラフマーのもとへ赴き、近侍して仕えた――聖なる重大事につき、その御前と導きを求めて。」
