चिक्षिपु: समरे क्रुद्धा: फाल्गुनस्य रथं प्रति । वे क्रोधमें भरकर युद्धमें अर्जुनके रथपर चमचमाती हुई शक्ति
cikṣipuḥ samare kruddhāḥ phālgunasya rathaṃ prati | na pāṇḍavān pratibalāṃs tava manye kathaṃcana | tathā droṇasya saṃgrāme drauṇeśveva kṛpasya ca ||
サンジャヤは言った。「戦場で憤激し、彼らはファールグナ（アルジュナ）の戦車めがけて武器を投げつけた。だが私は、パーンドゥの子らがあなた方に力で並ぶとは決して思わない――戦におけるドローナにも、ドローナの子（アシュヴァッターマン）にも、そしてクリパにも及ばぬ。」
