मार्गाश्न चरतश्षित्रं व्यस्मयन्त रणे जना: । वे बार-बार उछलते

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | mārgāś ca carataś citraṃ vyasmayanta raṇe janāḥ |

Translation

サञ्जयは語った。戦場を巡り、奇妙で多彩な身のこなしと素早い転進を示す彼を見て、戦う者たちは驚嘆に満たされた。名高きビーマセーナの武威—幾度も跳躍し、四方へ疾走し、並外れた戦術を繰り出すさま—を目の当たりにして、見物の者はその闘気に舌を巻いた。
