Transliteration

rathānīkaṃ naravyāprāḥ kecid abhyapatan rathaiḥ | abhajyanta yugair eva yugāni bharatarṣabha ||

Translation

サンジャヤは語った。戦に心を定めた幾人かの勇士は、戦車を駆って敵の戦車隊形へ真っ直ぐ突入した。おお、バーラタ族の雄牛よ、轅と轅が打ち合わさるようにして多くの車の轭は砕け散った—技と勇が、冷酷で非情な戦の機構と正面からぶつかる、密集戦の激烈な光景であった。
